Working Together on a Guitar

Today I had a lot of fun making the neck of a guitar. In my opinion my partner Obi and I did a good job of making this neck. The sound was great to me. I like when we had to glue the frets down to the neck. We used innovation by putting glue on one fret and sticking it to the other making us use less glue for more frets. We made it look so easy. But in my opinion the worst part was measuring because a little mistake meant that we had to start over again.

When we use the “cheese grater” file we had so much fun. We would use it to make frets perfect and clean. This was one of the first times building something with wood. The only struggle we had was communicating. I have an expander in my mouth and I sound a bit weird, but we communicated in the end and had a great experience actually building something basically on our own as team.
